Your First Visit
We’re glad you found us.
Whether you’re brand new to yoga or returning to movement after time away, our classes are designed to support all levels with guidance, modifications, and a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere.
You do not need to be flexible, experienced, or “in shape” to begin. We simply encourage you to start where you are.
-
Creating a profile ahead of time makes booking classes, managing your schedule, and settling in for your first visit simple and stress-free. You’re always welcome to reach out with questions before coming in.
-
After you sign up online, we recommend arriving about 15 minutes early so you have time to settle in comfortably.
Shoes are typically taken off just inside the entrance.
For sound baths, arriving early gives you time to get comfortable with any blankets, bolsters, mats, or props you’d like to use.
-
• A yoga mat if you have one (free mats are also available at the studio)
• Water
• A towel if preferred
For sound baths or restorative-style classes, you’re also welcome to bring anything that helps you feel extra comfortable.
-
Most parking is available along Sea Street.
Additional neighborhood parking may be available nearby. We simply ask guests to be mindful of residents, driveways, and posted parking signs.
If you’re unsure where to start, we’re happy to guide you toward classes that feel supportive and approachable.
Common Questions
Do I need to be flexible or experienced to join?
Not at all. Our classes welcome all levels, from complete beginners to experienced students. Instructors offer guidance and modifications so you can move at your own pace and feel comfortable in your practice.
Our studio is gently heated for comfort, but we do not offer traditional hot yoga classes.
Do you offer heated classes or hot classes?
Classes are intentionally kept small to support personal attention, comfort, and connection -usually no more than 12 students.
How many students are in each class?
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in and bring water. If you have your own mat, feel free to bring it, though mats and props are also available at the studio.
What should I bring and wear?
Life happens! Please cancel at least 3 hours before class so you keep your class credit and allow waitlisted students a chance to join.
What if I miss a class I signed up for?
Students must be at least 17 to attend regular public classes. We occasionally make exceptions for mature teens attending with an adult and also offer occasional youth or family classes.
Is there an age requirement?
We kindly ask that cancellations be made at least 3 hours before class to keep your class credit.
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee or lost class credit.
Workshops and special events require at least 48 hours’ notice for refund or credit consideration.
